This is an Official Invitation to all individual owners of Orphan Automobiles/Trucks (vehicles made by companies/divisions that no longer exist or car lines no longer made) and members of related clubs to display their vehicles in an exclusively reserved setting. The Indianhead Swap Meet and Car Show is the largest in western Wisconsin. It is held at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Grounds (Chippewa Falls). The show has about 800 vehicles on display, including: collector cars, custom motorcycles, original condition cycles, cutom and hot rod trucks, etc. Early arrival is essential for receiving dash plaques. In this year’s show, as in the past, an area (~50-60+ vehicles) will be cordoned off into an exclusive show site called NASHville. This will include (but not limited to) such Lost Historic Marques of the Past as Detroit Electric, Cord, Studebaker, Stutz, Desoto, Packard, Stanley-Steamer, Nash, AMC, Hudson, Metropolitan, Willys-Overland, Kaiser, Oldsmobile, Plymouth and related cousins to name just a few. Numerous other make/model specific clubs will be attending as well. Media coverage is being developed and arranged. If lodging in
the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area is desired I may be able to
arrange discounted group meal/lodging rates depending on number
planning on attending. If Saturday activities are
desired arrangements may be made there as well as activities are
being planned for that day. http://www.indianheadcarshow.com When arriving at the show gates, if interested, request directions to NASHville (or the Orphan site). If additional information or material is needed please contact me at your convenience. Looking forward to your contact and seeing your vehicles. Sincerely, David G. Tesch |
