Indianhead Old Car Club(Since 1965) The Indianhead Old Car Club has its’ roots beginning in the early summer of 1965 with an initial membership of 9 Charter Members of which 4 continue to remain active to this date.The Indianhead Old Car Club is based primarily in the west-central Wisconsin area of Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls/Menomonie with an active membership of 75 individuals. The membership contains an extremely wide variety of vehicles ranging from Stanley Steamers to Studebakers to Nashes to Etc. not to mention the extensive knowledge that accompanies this passion. Members meet once a month throughout the year for business meetings. These meetings are held at various members’ garages/facilities the 1st Wednesday of every month (unless a major holiday occurs on or around that date). The December meetings consist of a Christmas Party in addition to the business meeting. Educational and Informational sessions occur with each meeting. The Indianhead Old Car Club, in conjunction with 2 other automotive related clubs, presents the largest car show in western Wisconsin (Indianhead Swap Meet & Car Show) the first Sunday of every August. The club is actively involved in the Youth Interest/Involvement/Education Program held each year at the Eau Claire County Expo Center exposing approximately 2500 youth to the various aspects of the antique/classic car hobby along with the knowledge, education, and training required in such a field. Each fall, the club actively participates in the Ken Vance Motors Annual Auto Career Exploration Day sponsored by the local automotive dealership. Automotive Career Interested Youth are exposed to/instructed in the unique designs/concepts of eras gone on vehicles displayed by Indianhead Old Car Club members.
